Arthur Andrew Belanger, of Cumberland, RI, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at the age of 80 at Saint Antoine's. He was the son of the late Emelien and Evelyn Belanger,and brother of Albert and the late Roger Belanger. He was the beloved husband of Helen (Waldron) Belanger and loving father to David, Julie and Christopher Belanger, Karen Krinsky, Christine and Mark Connors and Jennifer and Daniel Wilson. He was the proud grandfather to Julia , Matt, Samantha, David, Jacob, Jocelyn, Ashley and Colin and great grandfather to Jayden, Makenna, Conor, and Sawyer.
Arthur was very proud of his service in the US Navy. After his service, he received his associates degree at Johnson and Wales University and worked for the telephone company for over 35 years in equipment installation and management.
In his retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, visiting museums, reading, and of course eating!! Those who knew and loved Arthur, knows he never missed a meal!
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Arthur’s life celebration to begin with visiting hours Thursday, April 28th from 4-7p.m. at Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave., Lincoln, RI. A mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, April 29th at 10 a.m. at Saint Joseph’s Church, 1303 Mendon Road, Cumberland, RI.
